Our well-established Ladies Section and enthusiastic Committee embraces the commitment our Club has made in signing the R&A’s ‘Women in Golf Charter’. Both our Ladies and Gents sections take great pride in working together as a larger team to create the best golfing experience for all our members.
Here is some key information about our Ladies Section:
- From April to October our competition days for the Ladies are Tuesdays (tee- times in morning, afternoon, and evening) and Sundays and we operate a draw process for the competitions which means you get the opportunity to play with a variety of the members.
- Our competitions are in a variety of formats – stroke, stableford, pairs or fun team competitions, 9-hole competitions as well as Club Championships – scratch, handicap, upper handicap.
- We run a series of knockout match-play competitions throughout the season including mixed pairs.
- We also run a number of Opens where you can bring along your friends and/or family.
- During the winter season we organise stableford and eclectic competitions often themed and fun.
- We have a Scratch 5 team for members with low handicaps who play in the county league.
- We play friendly team matches against some of our local Fife Clubs which lets you experience some local courses.
- There is an organised annual golf outing with fun competitions and nonsense!
- There are group lessons organised with our PGA professional throughout the season focussing on different aspects of the golf game.
If you are new to golf and would like to join our par 3 course (“The Halkett”) initially, please check out our offers which may include lessons and/or introduction to golf and the etiquette.
If you are considering joining you would be assured of a very warm welcome from everyone so please contact the Club Administrator (secretary@Dunfermlinegolfclub.com) or use the contact form if you would like to visit the club to view our facilities.
