The Dunfermline Golf Club, sometimes referred to as Pitfirrane Golf Club, is one of the best parkland courses in Fife. The club was founded in 1887 and has relocated three times since the early days. J.R. Stutt of Paisley designed the undulating and rather testing parkland course and there are no fewer than five par fives, the longest of which is the 528-yard 18th, Halkett’s Hame. At times it can be a daunting task making par, but a challenge and a lot of fun nonetheless. The five par threes are stunning, with the 13th and 16th being perfect examples.

The par 3 course, Halkett is an interesting challenge. It may only be 1074 yds long but you will need your short game to be sharp if you are going to score well. There may be no bunkers but there are plenty of mature trees to protect the course. Download Course Handicap
